Description
TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale - 45's, Pic Sleeves, EP's and LP's from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" and all in great condition! Here is another one of those really rare and hard to find early '60's LP`s by the talented, but short lived, singer/songwriter, Eddie Cochran, on the original Liberty Label from 1960 - just before his unfortunate death in an English taxi cab accident. This was just his 3rd album release, is self-entitled, "Eddie Cochran", and features twelve great songs of his from those early days of R'n'R. In addition to the record and jacket, this package also includes the original Liberty Records inner sleeve that advertises several other company related artists of this time (see pictures above for all song titles and more). LABEL INFO: This original Liberty Label (LRP-3172) is in MONO, and is close to perfect with absolutely no issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also primarily shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in any serious need of any mention - although if one looks closely enough under a bright light there are some super light surface/paper lines. These are completely uneventful in my eyes and do nothing to effect the sound or play of the album. JACKET INFO: Finally, the jacket is also in very good, but certainly not perfect, condition. There are some scuff marks along parts of both the top and bottom seam and in the corner areas (see pics above) - but only in these areas, not on the actual front and back sides. In addition, a previous owner did write his last name on the jacket's backside in green marker (also clearly visible in the pictures above). I would have to say that, except for this "name marking", the all important front and back sides are in great shape. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this outstanding early '60's LP by one of the truly special great and early R'n'R artists of that time, is in very good overall condition - so please have at it and continue to check this site for more great conditioned "oldies" from my personal collection. As I have already mentioned, over time I am selling off my entire collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's, sizes, and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. But, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
