"Eddie Condon Jazz Concert" radio show transcription disc from WAYS Radio, Charlotte, NC. One complete 15 minute radio program this 16 inch, black lacquer acetate coated aluminum, 33 1/3 rpm disc. This disc was recorded for reference purposes only and not available to the general public, very rare!
"Eddie Condon Jazz Concert" radio program #27 from November 18, 1944 starring Eddie Condon with Billy Butterfield (trumpet), Jess Stacy (piano), Bob Casey (bass), George Wettling (drums), Ernie Caceres (saxophone), Pee Wee Russell (clarinet)
Songs include "Way Down Yonder In New Orleans", "Three Little Words" with piano solo by Jess Stacy, "Song Of The Wanderer" with trumpet solo by Billy Butterfield, "Carnegie Leap"
This is a complete 15 minute radio program. The program was shorter than it's normal 30 minute length so The Blue Network could start coverage of the Navy vs. Purdue football game
Disc is in Very Good+ to Excellent- condition with Excellent Sound - sounds like a direct line check. There is some damage to the label which is visible in the scans
