EDDIE GALE’S GHETTO MUSIC
For auction here is the original vinyl 1968 BLUE NOTE STEREO (BST 84294)
Music by Eddie Gale was jazz played soulfully with a distinct sound and style. He blended ensemble and solo voices in a new way first heard in the 1960’s.
The record has the classic Blue and White Blue Note label.
Most notable is RVG etched in the dead wax for famed RUDY VAN GELDER who did the recording.
There is a gatefold cover with extensive liner notes and photos
The vinyl itself looks flawless with no cuts, scuffs or abrasions.
The inner sleeve with the Stature of Liberty representing Liberty Entertainment Division is in great shape. It still has the shiny white texture and shows no sign of age.
The gatefold cover shows the only points which make the cover, vinyl and sleeve less than excellent. A very small piece of the front left corner has been cut off and about ½ inch is missing. The back cover has slight fading of the blue pigment at the extreme top left corner.
THE VINYL PLAYS CLEANLY WITH NO POP, HISS, OR CRACKLE.
This LP is part of my personal collection. I will auction only quality, hard to find vintage albums.
YOU WILL NOT EASILY FIND THIS RARE ALBUM WITH VINYL, COVER AND SLEEVE IN SUCH FINE CONDITION.
