Description
Audiophile, Music Lover, and Musician are apt ways describing this loved person who passed away. His record collection, including classical (in the most broad sense), opera, some jazz and popular, was meticulously cared for. The best turntables, styluses, and speakers were always used and brought current, as necessary. The records received attention (they were cleaned prior to and after each playing) that I thought was overdoing it at the time…now I know better, they were kept in beautiful shape…for their next owner, too.

Canadian Sunset
On this 1958 Living Stereo release Pianist Eddie Heywood performs six tunes (including “Canadian Sunset,” “Subway Serenade” and four others) with a small rhythm trio, and six others with the Sid Ramin Orchestra. The "Canadian Sunset" performance by Eddie Heywood on this Lp is not the 1956 hit version with Hugo Winterhalter's Orchestra, here he plays with a quiet jazz-infused rhythm trio.
