EDDIE HODGES SPANISH EP 1961 La voz mas joven de America [The Voice of young America] featuring his big international hit - I'm gonna knock on your door - and 3 other tracks... in nice EX-/VG+ condition.
On offer is an Eddie Hodges 45rpm EP entitled La voz mas joven de America [The Voice of young America] as released in SPAIN in MONO on CADENCE / HISPAVOX HY 237-03 in 1961. This is a rare EP that is very hard-to-find these days.
The track listing is printed in both English and Spanish on the front cover. The songs are all sung in English as follows:
I'm gonna knock on your door / Ain't gonna wash for a week / Bandit of my dreams / Mugmates.
The laminated picture sleeve front cover on this rare EP is in nice EX-/VG+ condition.
The non-laminated back sleeve cover shows some minor signs of aging [it's 56 years old!]. There are no seam splits at all.
The vinyl is in nice EX-/VG+ condition.
The record labels are nice and clean, with no writing on them
The record sounded great when I test played it on my BOSE record player.

EXCELLENT (EX) THE RECORD SHOWS SOME SIGNS OF HAVING BEEN PLAYED, BUT THERE IS VERY LITTLE LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY. THE COVER AND PACKAGING MIGHT HAVE SLIGHT WEAR AND/OR CREASING.
VERY GOOD (VG) THE RECORD HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN PLAYED MANY TIMES, BUT DISPLAYS NO MAJOR DETERIORATION IN SOUND QUALITY, DESPITE NOTICEABLE SURFACE MARKS AND THE OCCASIONAL LIGHT SCRATCH. NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE COVER OR EXTRA ITEMS, WITHOUT ANY MAJOR DEFECTS, IS ACCEPTABLE.
GOOD (G) THE RECORD HAS BEEN PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE SOUND QUALITY HAS NOTICEABLY DETERIORATED, PERHAPS WITH SOME DISTORTION AND MILD SCRATCHES. THE COVER AND CONTENTS SUFFER FROM FOLDING, SCUFFING OF EDGES, SPINE SPLITS, DISCOLOURATION, ETC.
