I LOVE YOU/ I SURRENDER 1969 - ABC (AB 807) THIS IS A TRULY RARE SOUL CLASSIC FROM 1969. ALTHOUGH "I LOVE YOU" IS THE OFFICIAL 'A' SIDE, THIS IS BETTER KNOWN FOR THE 'B' SIDE "I SURRENDER" WHICH WAS A MUCH BIGGER DANCE HIT IN THE NORTHERN SOUL CLUBS. THE RECORD PLAYS WELL WITH A RICH DEEP SOUND. THERE IS SOME MINOR CRACKLE ON THE OPENING OF "I SURRENDER" BUT THIS QUICKLY DISAPPEARS. THE LABELS ARE CLEAN AND UNMARKED. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I have been a record collector since the 1960's and have traded them for the last twenty years. Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump. Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
