Description
Prestige 7191
Original mono press from 1961 of essential two tenor set recorded at Minton's. Band includes Junior Mance on piano, Larry Gales on bass and Ben Riley on drums.
Vinyl is VG+*, with good gloss and a low number of light marks and a couple scuffs. Sound is warm and full, with very little noise.
Laminated cover has all seams intact. The laminate is starting to peel away near one corner on the front and the back has friction wear, a small tear and a signature (see photo below).
Yellow and black deep groove labels have a signature on Side B and are otherwise clean (see photos below).
RVG is machine stamped in the dead wax.
