Description

If you've made it here you know exactly what this is and how rare it is. This is an original pressing, NOT a repro or reissue. This was found with similar era 45's and has been in storage for seemingly many years. The record shows signs of its age (and has the name written on it) but plays back very well. There are no deep scratches or skips. I was especially impressed with the sound quality of "Ain't That Right." "Bring your love Back Home" does play back a bit quieter and just has overall lower sound quality, but still an overall solid play and we are talking about a release from 1955 here. It was play tested on my home setup, which is a Pro-ject Debut Carbon with an AT440Mla cart.


I did hit up a few "Sun 45 Experts" within the online community and they all verified its authenticity. Here's a quote from one:

"It's definitely Real my friend. No doubt about that. The only downfall is the writing on the labels. The "Push Marks" only go up to release #222 so this release does Not have them. Also the ones from 222 down to 180(the first Sun on 45 was #180) the push marks were Only made at Memphis's Plastic Products pressing plants. Sam Phillips used several pressing plants. The first 4 Elvis sun's has push marks but the last Mystery Train does not have them cause by the time his 4th was released the demand for his records was so high Sam used a pressing plant outside of Memphis that had greater production."


While I'm not an expert in Sun releases, I am a record collector myself and will do my best to give you more details at your request.
