EDEN AHBEZ Eden's Island (The Music Of An Enchanted Isle) DFLP-1211 Original
This is the rare, original pressing, mono, DFLP-1211 release from "Nature Boy" Eden Ahbez! It is a wild album, almost like the original, lounge soundtrack from 1960. This album & Eden were huge influences on Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys & their "Smile" album. You likely have already done your homework on Eden but if you haven't, do a Google search to read about this influential LA, music artist from the early 60's.

VINYL: The vinyl is in VG+ condition and has great luster. (Check the photos to confirm.) I gave this album a couple of test listens and it has excellent sound. There were no skips, pops or hissing. There are no scratches either.  The vinyl is almost flat with only a tiny wobble when spun on the turntable. Again, this is very tiny and does not affect the sound of the album at all.  There is a visual, surface flaw on the vinyl on side 2. (check photo 7) It is thumbnail size and shaped discoloration on the first track. This did not effect the sound of the album at all. The music played beautifully and did not interfere with the music or sound quality!

SLEEVE: The main condition issue is a 6" split on the bottom spine. There is also 3 tiny, white dots on the front cover, right on Eden's face. They is also a very thin, orang-ish color, surface crease on the cover that runs from the bottom up. (Check photo #8) There is slight flaking on the other two spines. VG is a very fair rating to this non-professional, yet fussy collector/grader.

Put the needle on the record on this unit and enjoy this 57-year old, rare, original pressing, vinyl album! It s a wild musical ride to an enchanted isle! It's listed at a fair price. Please let me know if you have any questions.
