Edgardo Canton "Le moor" LP issued by Ades (10.040 / ADE 331) in France, 1983. Gatefold sleeve. ****** Rec:m- / Cov:ex ****** Soundtrack composed by Schaeffer's GRM Chilean member Edgardo Canton from the movie "Le Mur". Chilean Edgardo Canton was a member of the GRM with Pierre Schaeffer, like Luc Ferrari or Bernard Parmegiani, from 1959 to 1965, and an independent composer who worked there until 1973. The movie "Le Mur" is an adaptation of the short story by Jean-Paul Sartre, directed by Serge Roullet, dialogues by JP Sartre with Michel Del Castillo, Mathieu Klossovski, René Darmon, Claude Esteban. Serge Roullet was assistant of directors like Hans Richter & Robert Bresson. Very rare record with quite extreme electronic music by Edgardo Canton.
