Description

Actually I've never seen this particular cylinder for sale or otherwise...anywhere. And we're selling this with NO RESERVE. This is a 100 year old Edison 2 minute wax cylinder and is an oratory by William H. Taft the 27th president of the United States. This is in excellent condition and plays beautifully and very clear. There are some VERY SLIGHT needle drops in the last part of the playing surface. And there are some on the smooth part on the end or top but this is after the oratory is over and it only causes an occasional very light pop. I hope I'm not knocking this too much because it truly is a very nice cylinder and a very rare one. Please see for yourself and we also now have another 100 year old William Jennings Bryan political cylinder up...as well as a nice Edison cylinder phonograph...a bunch of other cylinders and all the memorabilia so please take a peek.
