Description
CONDITION: playing surface condition is V+ the Fletcher Henderson side label is partially missing and there are several edge chips that do not affect play or break into the playing surface on this 1923 release of EDISON 51276 -- playing surfaces are clean and in nice condition -- here is featured a 1923 cast from jazz great FLETCHER HENDERSON ORCHESTRA that includes HENDERSON on piano, ELMER CHAMBERS clarinet, TEDDY NIXON trombone, a 19 year old COLEMAN HAWKINS on tenor sax, the great DON REDMAN on alto sax, BILL FOWLER sax, CHARLIE DIXON banjo, and KAISER MARSHALL drums on the hot side "SHAKE YOUR FEET" and on the opposite side is another interesting jazz combo, the STEVENS' TRIO with their jazz take on "ALONG THE TRAIL" -- please see photos for overall condition.
This record will be securely packed in a new 12x12x4 box sandwiched between cardboard stiffeners and floating in a paper fill.
