MAYBE I'M AMAZED (mono)/(stereo) (Capitol #SPRO-957 PROMO 1st pressing w/company sleeve, 1976): CLEAN M- GEM 45 & SLEEVE!
Scarce CLEAN M- 45 with clean labels and glossy vinyl, including its correct Capitol company sleeve. Edited 3:43 mono/stereo Maybe I'm Amazed PROMO for radio play; this shortened version didn't appear on LP or the commercially released single.
Paul originally recorded the song for his 1970 LP McCartney, which he rushed into release to beat Let It Be to record stores (which pissed off John, George, and Ringo). Amazed was the standout tune on an album that was full of snippets and half-songs (Lennon uncharitably described it as "rubbish"). The song was a fan favorite for over 6 years until, finally, this live version was excerpted from the Wings Over America LP. It made the Top 10 in Spring 1977.
