EDITH FARNADI classical LP WESTMINSTER 5266 Liszt piano

Title:   “Franz Liszt: Sonata in B Minor – Valse Impromptu – Mephisto Waltz”

 

Label:   WESTMINSTER.  Label is red with silver text.  Monaural pressing on thick vinyl with deep groove.  Catalog number is WL 5266. 

 

Year:  1954

 

Condition: 

 

DISC:  Vinyl retains 100% of original gloss, has been played a small number of times and handled with care.  Grades nice VG++ with no marks or scuffs.  There are a few soft tics due to storage over so many years, but no serious marks or problems.  Fidelity is excellent and the listening experience is quite enjoyable as you can hear in the sound clip provided of the first 1:30 of Side One.  Labels are clean.  A very fine playing copy.  

 

JACKET:   Jacket is nice VG+ with no major problems.   Front artwork is clean, displays light surface wear.  Seams are intact except for small 3-in. split at bottom center.  Reverse has darkened a bit with age.  There is a small rectangular sticker on reverse at top center (Disc Shop, Washington D.C.).  Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the nice sounding disc.
