Incredible rare original Dutch 1962 LP by jazz vocalist Edwin Rutten and the Goldcoast Combo (featuring a very young Rogier van Otterloo!) & guests. See scan. Very first LP of Edwin Rutten !! Photo on frontcover was made by famous Dutch photographer Paul Huf.

Tracks: Takin' a chance, Blues on thoughts, What is this thing called love, How high the moon, Violets for your furs, It's allright with me // Broadway, Sophisticated lady, Take the A train, You go to my head, Softly as in a morning sunrise. Superb vocal jazz !!! Some scat too !!!

Musicians: Rogier van Otterloo (piano), Rene Holdert (bass), Costa Tchaoussoglou (drums), guesting: Frank Hartvelt (trumpet), Peter Eckberg (guitar) and of course the superb vocals of Edwin Rutten !!!

This LP was slightly later also released as "Introduction to Edwin" in a different cover.

VERY VERY RARE ITEM !!!

Label: Delta DL 501. Condition record/cover: vg (some surfacemarks that play with some incidental soft pops and some light background noise only) / vg (some ringwear, some bent corners, some wear at back and some bottomsplit). Almost impossible to find!!!

Essential item for any eurojazz fan / collector!!!
