Description

This record is part of my own private collection from the 60s and 70s.

I bought all my records brand new and transferred them straight away into cardboard sleeves, for added protection.

EDWIN STARR - TIME - Original 1970 US First Issue - Gordy G7097

Recently featured in Elaine Constantine’s film “Northern Soul”, here’s your chance to have a copy of the 1970 original US first release of Edwin Starr’s - “Time” on the unmistakable Gordy Label (G7097)

I bought this new before the 1970 UK release on Tamla Motown (which I also bought). It’s in great condition and both labels are perfect. The flip side is “Running Back And Forth”, another hugely popular track.

Note however, that being styrene rather than vinyl, the record does have a tiny bit of crackle on the intro lead-in’s and there’s a drill hole (See Pics)

A great addition to anyone’s Northern Soul Collection.
