Description
For the record…
E.E. Ghost-Ghost Plays For Mr. S, Gramophone, Early 1970s.
Holy grail Canadian-only private press spiritual/free jazz LP. This is an original promotional copy housed in a blank sleeve (w/ paper insert a la other titles on the elusive Gramophone label). Ghost was an elusive west coast legend who is now deceased. Only a handful of heads are aware of this one, even in the city it was recorded in. So good. Top artifact of Canadian underground jazz/outsider culture. Ultimate recommendation.
Original CDN pressing
Sleeve: VG (full split on bottom of paper seam, edge wear, small rips, patina, ID sticker, small pen mark, still presentable)
Vinyl: VG+(+) (small ID sticker on each label, surface marks, still has nice sheen, plays well overall w/ occasional light surface noise)
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING
Grading scale: Sealed (unopened, any visible flaws described), M- (mint minus or NM, highest grade, overall clean play and look, any minor flaws described in listing), VG++ (solid spin, mostly clean play and look, flaws as described), VG+ (still enjoyable/presentable, plays with occasional surface noise/pops, any visual flaws noted), VG (prominent flaws as described), VG- (lowest grade, will have extensive flaws as described, reference copy)
