Egg 1969 Deram Nova Mono
Rare opportunity to acquire this mono original Deram Nova copy of Egg's debut LP, featuring Canterbury's Dave Stewart. Bought second-hand in 1978 by the current owner, the record itself – sides one and two having been played all the way through today – is in remarkable condition, bearing few pops and no surface noise at all. Unfortunately, the rear of the LP jacket had a large sticker factory applied to it, changing the information of the original rear. The previous owner – perhaps the Chris Rummery who has added his name on red felt tip – attempted to remove the sticker. He failed. This has left the look of the back jacket rather messy (see photo) while the laminated (Decca style) front also appears tired and old. No crumples or tearing of the laminate have taken place, however, not even around the price sticker area. Many thanks for looking.
