Description
BUY IT NOW - a rare first pressing vinyl LP record from the band EGG. The title of the album is "The Civil Surface" released on Caroline Records, which was the band's third and final studio album recorded in 1974. After breaking up in 1972, the band re-united solely to record some of their favourite unrecorded stage pieces.
EGG was an avante-garde progressive rock band which included Dave Stewart - organ, piano & bass, Mont Campbell - bass, vocals, french horn & piano, while the drummer was Clive Brooks.
Guest artists performing on certain tracks included: Steve Hillage, Tim Hodgkinson, Jeremy Baines, Amanda Parsons, Ann Rosenthal, Barbara Gaskin, Maurice Cambridge, Stephen Solloway & Chris Palmer.

The album cover is in good condition with slight surface wear. The vinyl record itself is in very good condition (see scans). The word Bok is written neatly on the bottom left hand side on the back of the album and is also written on side two in the centre of the record. Bok was the name of the owner of the record at the time. Postage cost of $25.00 registered post within Australia.
