Notes : music Egisto Macchi, orchestra Bruno Nicolai. A superb whirl of blithe, romantic, dramatic, folk and percussive themes on an overall symphonic tapestry. I wish to underline the great talent of the composer and the masterly cleverness of the conductor. This score does not feature at all the usual pretty but insipid atmospheric tunes. 23 tracks.

A documentary depicting half in jest the Italian society in the early 60's, directed by Pasquale Prunas.
