Artist: Aly Rachidi
Tracks: Taxim Hougaz Pt 1 & 2

Terrific example of classical Arabic music played by a gifted player - Ali Rachidi plays the qanun beautifully on this 2-sided taxim for Columbia in the late 1920s. Rachidi also played with Sami Al-Shawwa for the same label, and was a well-known accompanist as well as a solo artist.


Condition: VV+ (even wear, dig A side that passes, plays well)
