Artist: Selah Abdel Hai ("Saleh Eff. Abd El-Hay" on disc)
Tracks: Kam Baasria, Pts 1-2

Lovely early Egyptian music, likely from the early to mid-20s - vocal accompanied by violin and qanun. Selah Abdel Hai's uncle was the great Abdel Hai Hilmi - he started singing quite young. Born in 1896, died 1962; he was noted for his extravagant lifestyle, drinking and partying and even altering the text of early songs.

Condition: VV+ (rough start for just a couple of grooves - improves to grade with even wear)
