These top musicians would have really deserved the big breakthrough, but only Rainer Brüninghaus eventually made it. At the time, their two LPs were too sophisticated and progressive for the general public, and fans of progressive music found them too jazzy. This is why they could hardly please anybody and their very elaborate music did not find many listeners. It’s good music, but you must get used to it. For experts only. Next to the so far unknown 'Lilybaeum' - the stress is on 'ae' -, this gig contains stage versions of three tracks from their second LP. The 20-page full-coloured booklet contains many photographs of Eiliff, a long band history, a poster repro, a detailed discography with many cover and label repros, etc. Limited edition of 1000 numbered LPs.
Diese Spitzenkönner hätten wirklich den großen Durchbruch verdient gehabt, doch nur Rainer Brüninghaus hat ihn schließlich geschafft. Der breiten Masse waren ihre beiden LPs damals zu anspruchsvoll und zu progressiv, den Liebhabern dieser Richtung wiederum zu jazzig. So saßen sie zwischen allen Stühlen und fanden mit ihren ausgefeilten Kunstwerken kaum Hörer. Gute Musik, doch gewöhnungsbedürftig. Für Kenner. Dieser Auftritt enthält neben dem ansonsten völlig unbekannten 'Lilybaeum' - mit Betonung auf dem 'ae' - Bühnenfassungen von drei Stücken ihrer zweiten LP. Das Heft von 20 Seiten im LP-Format enthält neben reichlich Bildern von Eiliff auch eine sehr lange Bandstory in deutsch und englisch, ein Poster-Repro, eine ausführliche Diskographie mit vielen Cover- und Label-Repros usw. Begrenzte Auflage von 1000 handnumerierten LPs.
