Description

This is a fine U.S. white label promo copy of a 1986 collection of single, live, and other tracks by German experimental/industrial group Einstürzende Neubauten.  The group included Blixa Bargeld, who went on to be a founding member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.  The record was originally released in Europe in 1984, but only appeared on cassette in the U.S. at that time.  Its full title, Strategies Against Architecture, is a play on the group's name, which translates as Collapsing New Buildings.  The jacket has light creasing along the spine and seams, and some mostly invisible gouging on the back cover (EX).  Visually, the disc has a long scrape through the first three tracks on side 2, but is otherwise clean with some light staining, scraping, and scuffing.  It plays well with some light surface noise -- EX(+).


I’m helping a friend sell his personal collection. I have play graded (spot checked) discs. The jackets will be shipped in plastic sleeves with the discs removed from them.
