Description

For sale is a German import vinyl reissue of Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten (Potomak, 4015698251715).


With a mixture of rough punk tunes and industrial noises this debut alum from German industrial band, Einstürzende Neubauten helped solidify the industrial music scene.

One of their trademarks is the use of custom-built instruments, predominantly made out of scrap metal and building tools, and noises, in addition to standard musical instruments. Their early albums were unremittingly harsh, with Blixa Bargeld's vocals shouted and screamed above a din of banging and scraping metal percussion.


This reissue features a 12 page book featuring scribbled lyrics, doodles and ironic black and white photographs. A collector's item to be sure!


 


Disc is EX showing light signs of play wear, plays with occasional faint pops, slightly more on side 2 but nothing overwhelming, barely noticeable.  

Jacket is VG+ (some wear along top and opening edge, very light creasing and some discoloration along middle of opening on front cover and a small mark on top opening on the back)
