EINSTURZENDE NEUBAUTEN “Zeichnungen des Patienten O. T. (or Drawings of Patient O. T.)” orig UK lp NM
1983/UK/Some Bizzare Records SBVART 2….. This is a clean original pressing of this rare lp. The cover is in NM condition, right side corners have slightest wear, there is a 1” square removable warehouse sticker top right on back cover, otherwise no wear, splits or other issues and looks gorgeous! The vinyl is in NM condition, there is a bit of minor inaudible staining on one side from the inner sleeve, otherwise like new. The labels are clean and have no spindle marks. Includes the original custom printed inner sleeve in NM condition. Please check my auction for other industrial, psych, avant garde, experimental and various other lp’s. This album shows a wider variety of moods and sounds than the group's first album, Kollaps. Einstürzende Neubauten is famous for banging, scraping, plucking, or otherwise wringing sounds from any resonant object. While such metallic clatter pervades the album, the group also uses techniques such as found sounds (telephone conversations, the Hamburg fish market) and (pre-digital) sampling (an excerpt of an Armenian song, "Toun en kelkhen imastoun yes," is used in "Armenia"). Bass guitar is relatively prominent, though generally played in a minimal style (and perhaps contributing more toward sonic texture rather than forming a rhythmic or harmonic foundation). Trouser Press critic David Sheridan pointed out the group's drifting towards conventionality, writing, "the title track even has a chord progression!" (his emphasis).

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much
VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition, I also play grade the records on high end equipment and will give an honest play grade as well as visual grade, considering the number of records I buy on line my grading is very conservative and fair.
