This Lp was released on the 10th July 1964. The 45rpm was released in April and at that time the Beatles' film had yet to get a title and as the story goes, Ringo emerged from a long days work saying "It's been a hard day," then seeing it was already dark added " 's night." This was then announced to the press as the title on the 17th of April. Ringo may have seen this phrase before in Lennons book "Sad Michael."
Holding a number 1 postition for a huge 21 weeks, from July the 25th!!!
This is also the ONLY Beatles album to have every track written by Lennon/McCartney.

VG+! Lovely heavy vinyl with a gorgeous sheen. There are light marks to both sides BUT after playing her all the way through I found the sound reproduction to be superb! Only very light and occasional background noise.
DEEP RICH BASS
A gentle professional clean and you've got a great copy.
 Very nice indeed.

RARER E J DAY COVER-These were made at a rough ratio of 10:1 in comparison to the usual Garrod & Lofthouse covers....They needed to meet demand, so farmed some work out to EJ Day!
 Solid, small mono in top right corner.
Shiny front cover...With just a few small fingers of spidering to the front laminted cover.
MAGICAL CONDITION!!
Still has a glorious white card backing...With a little discolouration from age...but I do too :)
NO WRITING.
 Very strong corners too.
WONDERFUL EJ Day flipbacks in TOP condition.

EXCELLENT, STRONG, UNCRUSHED & LEGIBLE spine.

Has "Printed and made by E J Day & Co. Ltd. London" to back bottom right corner flipback.

Inner: EX++. Plain white die-cut, poly-lined inner in TIP-TOP shape!
Some creasing but NO SPLITS or WRITING.
Certainly done her job by looking after this lovely album.
