ORIGINAL Vinyl LP in VG+ condition.

Xingu were a late 60s band from Chile. Seem slike the clearly heard plenty of 45s from the US, as the tracks on this set have them grooving in a style that recalls the best of The Meters, Kool & The Gang, and other classic funk acts!. Featuring an insane instrumental funk remake of Led Zeppelin's "Moby Dick" -- complete with a breaking drum solo -- and also includes great versions of JAMES BROWN'S "Hot Pants", THE NITE-LIGHTERS "Tanga Boo Gonk", and AWESOME ORIGINAL "Black Power" & "493 West" and finally the extended version of Herbie Hancock's BRING DOWN THE BIRDS here re-titled as "Baja A Las Chiquillas".
