I've been slowly selling off much of my record collection...These records need a nice new home. Don't miss this one...
Vault Stereo 131-GatefoldElaine Brown was the Deputy Minister of Information, Southern California Chapter of the Black Panther Party.
These songs reflect the social outcry from their perspective during a time considered by many to be the most turbulent in the United States History.
Some of the song titles say it all: The Panther, The End of Silence, The Meeting (The Black Panther Party National Anthem), Very Black Man, Assassination and more.
In a quote from her self written notes in the liner: "In all societies, the way of life of the people, their culture, mores, customs, etc., evolve from the economic basis of that society. The United States is a capitalist society, the system of capitalism being one of exploitation of man by man, with by-products such as racism, religious chauvinism, sexual chauvinism, and unnatural divisions among the people. In other words, it's a dog-eat-dog society. But it's not a dog-eat dog world."
Great stuff from a chapter in history that changed our world forever.
This very scarce album is pristine throughout.
Cover is in great shape with ring wear, some creases, and corner dings. The Spines are all sturdy and strong.
Vinyl is in great shape

The buyer pays $4.00 Shipping & Handling in the USA for the first Record, after that I will combine shipping. Each additional Record is an extra $1.00(USA only).
Most other overseas countries pay $16 for the first Record. Although ANY Records Shipped outside of the USA that sell for more than $40 will need to be shipped either Express or registered to enable to tracking them. This is to protect both the buyer and the seller. It could/will cost upwards to $30.00 to ship a record that way.
