JOHN KERRY, Secretary of State, former US Senator and Presidential candidate, plays ELECTRIC BASS on this very rare garage/instrumental/surf privately pressed LP from 1962 (edition of 500 according to www).  THE ELECTRAS were a prep school rock ‘n’ roll band from Concord, New Hampshire.

Radio Corporation of America / Custom Recording Department is credited on back cover.

11 instrumental tracks and 2 vocal numbers.

Track List: (SIDE ONE) Guitar Boogie Shuffle; Three Blind Mice; You Can’t Sit Down; Greenfields; Shanghaied; Summertime Blues; (SIDE TWO) Bulldog; Ya Ya; Sleepwalk; Electra; Because They’re Young; Torquay; Yellow Jacket.

CONDITION

DISC (VISUAL) = VG+++. Record retains much of its sheen.

DISC (AURAL) = VG++.  Light background noise, not noticeable during music on most tracks. No distortion to music.

LABELS = NEAR MINT MINUS (some light scuffs to SIDE TWO label). No spindle marks.

COVER = VG.  Ring wear; edge wear (especially to top edge); corners bumped; seam split to top edge (approx. 8”);  slight loss of paper to top edge.  Name and address written in marker ink on back cover.

Record will be packaged well (cover in poly sleeve; disc in paper sleeve outside of cover) in 13x13 Uline mailer with corrugated cardboard and bio-degradable “peanuts”.
