ELECTRIC FLAG – “’The Trip’ Original Soundtrack” (1967) Sidewalk-5908 original pressing EX/M- (cover/record)
A great psychedelic rock soundtrack to the original mothion picture “The Trip” starring Peter Fonda, Susan Strasberg and Dennis Hopper, written by Jack Nicholson and produced by Roger Corman. It is a great outing by the band that features Mike Bloomfield on guitar, Harvey Brooks on bass, Barry Goldberg on organ, Buddy Miles on percussion, Nick Gravenites on vocal and guitar, and some backing musicians that include Paul Beaver on Moog! Theree are lots of short songs here, and a few names include “Peter’s Trip,” “Joint Passing,” “Psyche Soap,” “M-23,” “Peter Gets Off,” and many others.
This is an original STEREO pressing. The thick cardboard cover has only the slightest hint of wear, and the white parts of the cover are crisp white like it just left the factory yesterday. The vinyl looks unplayed – it has a mono label on side 1 and a stereo label on side 2, but it is stereo on both sides. Conservative grading: EX/M- (cover/record).

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!!
