Description

THE ELECTRO HARMONIX WORK BAND
"State-of-the-art Electronic Devices"  LP
ELECTRO-HARMONIX
ER 711  USA  1977

Please click picture to enlarge.

Crazy album put out by Electro Harmonix to show how their analog guitar electronic effects worked. Six tracks played by a funky studio band (two guitars, bass & drums) loaded by all kind of weird effects (Big Muff, Smallstone, Memory Man, Octave Multiplexer, Doctor Q, Bad Stone, Golden Throat...) Highlights are the super funky jams of "EM" & "2-4-5" and the monster, nearly side-long track "I am not a synthetizer", crazy electro funk full of weird effects and wild guitar, it sounds like an alien from outer space doing scratch!! really insane!! it blows away all the current post-punk & electroclash sh*t!! Rare original copy!

Listen to a soundclip of "I am not a synthetizer"

RECORD GRADING:

Near Mint: This is the top grade and is in pristine condition with excellent gloss and no marks. May look unplayed. A NM cover will show no signs of wear.

A NM- is slightly below the NM grade with only one imperfection but generally flawless.

VG++: Record may have sleeve marks from being pulled in and out of a cover. Typically these marks will only be viewable under a bright light bulb. Generally will play through like a NM- with little to no surface noise. Cover may have storage wear, tiny age spots, or creasing, nothing distracting or major.

VG+: Visible scuffing or surface wear may be present, but not deep enough to affect play. VG+ records may have slight surface noise, but only noticeable in quiet passages of music (or at beginning of record or between tracks.) This slight surface noise should not overwhelm the music experience otherwise. Covers in this grade may have ringwear, edgewear, creases, or general shelf wear. Splits or writing on cover or label will be noted.

VG: Vinyl will display many hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of noise. A great play copy but clearly used. Cover may have splits and heavy wear, writting or stains, and possible tears or creases

We generally do not list below VG unless a record is incredibly rare. We do not sell reissues!
