This record is in very good condition. It has light spindle marks visible on the labels but there is no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading. The centres show only light wear and are not loose or worn. Overall the labels are clean, bright and still in good shape but with the spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have a lovely lustre but do show signs of use. There is some light scratches and marks on each side, which I have tried to capture in the pictures above. These dont look great but are all light and cannot be felt. There is also a few 'scuffs' in places and also some sporadic light patches of wear. These are all again light and cannot be felt. Overall the vinyl is used and does show this with some light marks and scratches to each side. It still has a lovely lustre however and does not appear to have been played to death with the marks and issues mentioned only clearly visible when angled or under bright light.
I play tested the record and it was a very enjoyable listen. The first thing to mention however would be that it has an outer warp of some degree. This causes the record arm to raise or 'bob' on each side for the first couple of tracks(before it fades off). This is a visual issue but is also not really severe and has no affect on the audio produced.
The audio is very enjoyable as I say. It has no skips, sticks or loud disruptive tics and overall, in my opinion is a strong grade of EX on each side. The run in to side 1 is very quiet and overall the whole side plays great. I noted a few minor splutters in the intro to track 4 but side 1 plays great. Side 2 is much the same but with a few splutters in the intro of track 2 this time. On the whole it produces audio of a much higher grade than the visual VG grade. It is not 100% perfect(as you can imagine from a record graded VG and does have the arm movement as mentioned) but is most certainly still a very enjoyable listen.
The fully laminated sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but there are no splits anywhere and the sleeve remains solid. The writing along the spine and top edge is still all legible and there are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere. It is clean and bright but does have ring marks and creasing to each side. The worst of the laminate creasing can be seen around the edges, where there is also a few small laminate bubbles evident. There is also mild ring marks showing as I say and when tilted there is indentations/pen marks showing in parts. Overall it is still strong and looks pretty decent but does have general age related wear as I have tried to outline. I have done my best to describe the sleeve but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original plain white inner but this is in fair condition. It has no splits or pen marks but has creasing, ring marks and severe grubbiness/discolouring. I will therefore send the record in a brand new plain white replacement.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
