~ Some of our regular customers may realise this particular record has been listed before by us and was sold for £361 . This relist is because the winning bidder had an minor issue with one of our audio gradings and made use of our full refund policy. This is why on this occasion we have produced a recording sample (see bottom of listing) of the single itself, for collectors to make their own judgements. We wanted to post the complete audio of both tracks on this listing but as we are unsure of 'royalty issues' we have decided to put only a 30 second sample of the title track. If anyone reading this has informed knowledge of the 'royalty issue' please let us know if we are allowed to post complete recordings.

On both sides there are some surface marks. However there are no major scratches or abrasions on either side of the vinyl.

As its an extremely rare single we have decided to capture the audio of the first 30 seconds of the track, (see below) so you can judge for yourself the sound quality of this demonstration single. We have taken the first 30 seconds of 'Put Yourself In My Place' because we believe that this clip is a good example of the audio quality on : 'Put Yourself In My Place'. As you might be able to hear there is some extremely faint background popping. However this does not in anyway spoil the sound delivered by the Elgins which is still very special.

Although the spectrum of musical genre is varied, this collection heavily features PSYCHEDELIC, FREAKBEAT, PUNK, MOTOWN and NORTHERN SOUL. We have a data-based collection, using the RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDES' grading scale (If you are unaware of this grading system please don’t hesitate to contact me and I will reply as soon as possible with the guides description). As you can see in the description there is a grading given for VINYL and AUDIO QUALITY. This is necessary because a record may seem poor quality when viewed, but when played the AUDIO QUALITY is often excellent. Conversely the VINYL QUALITY may seem excellent but when played the AUDIO QUALITY can be quite poor.
