Title: Bach Hindemith Toufic Succar Interpreted by Eliane Magnan Cello. Inscribed on back in red ink by Eliane Magnan in French:  "Avec amitie a Sonia Poladian, si hereuse de lui confier Indira pour la danse.  Que le geste et la musique représentent toujours pour nous l'élévation des beau et l'harmonie dans notre vie - Beyrouth Pâques 1972 Eliane". (With friendship to Sonia Poladian, so happy to entrust Indira to her for dance (instruction). That movement and music always represent for us the elevation of beauty and harmony in our life).  Sonia Poladian was a pioneer of classical dance training in Lebanon, and Indira was Eliane's daughter.  Eliane Magnan was not only a wonderful classical cellist, but also a politically active humitarian, especially active in efforts to stop the war in Lebanon. She was the secretary of the International Commission to Investigate Human Rights Vio­lations.

Vinyl condition: VG+ Play graded, barely heard any noise during performance, a little on quiet passages in places, some between tracks and a repetitive scratch sound at the end of the Succar track.  Visually some slight wear, but no scratches.  Any defects should be tolerated given the rarity of this record.  

Sleeve condition:  VG/VG+ Perforation at back spine, corner creases and corner wear, some creases visible on back.  Otherwise, intact and clean.  Comes with additional poly inner sleeve.

Notes: Cleaned with the Disc Doctor Quick Wash.  Ultra rare record with beautiful sound presence. Fabulous performance, a pleasure to listen to.
