We are long time sellers with 100% feedback but have experienced problems with our original account so are trying another.
Here is a group of four early albums containing six 12” Monoral LP vinyl records of Ella Fitzgerald from the Mid-Century, Eisenhower era. You will see reflections or glare on both the record surfaces and sleeves in the photos. You will receive the following:
1. ELLA FITZGERALD And LOUIS ARMSTRONG from VERVE RECORDS as MG V-4003 which we believe to be a first pressing. They call this label red but it looks more dark orange. We did not play it but this mono platter boasts original shine, gloss, and luster with no scratches to be seen. It appears seldom if ever played. It is protected by the early style wax paper look inner sleeve. The full color cover with photographic image of Ella and Satchmo shows minimal storage signs with one bumped corner. The original owner wrote the date 11/9/56 at the top edge of the back. You're not likely to find a much nicer example of this early copy.
2. This album is a set that holds two 12” LP vinyl records of ELLA FITZGERALD SINGS THE ROGERS AND HART SONG BOOK from VERVE RECORDS as MG V-4002 which we believe to be a first pressing from 1956. They call these labels red but they look more orange with some variation in shade from one to another. We did not play them but these mono platter boast original shine, gloss, and luster with no scratches to be seen. They appear seldom if ever played. They are protected by the early style wax paper look inner sleeves. The full color cover with photographic image of Ella shows minimal storage signs with a bit of peeling to the glossy finish near the open edge. The original owner wrote the date 2/13/57 at the top edge of the back. You're not likely to find much nicer examples of these early copies.
3. ELLA FITZGERALD SONGS IN A MELLOW MOOD WITH ELLIS LARKINS AT THE PIANO from DECCA RECORDS, MADE IN U.S.A. as DL 8068 is a 12” LP vinyl album. It has the old style black and gold label which may be from 1954 but we are not sure. We played some of this mono platter which has some light scratches and surface noise. The Blue with pink lettering color cover with photographic image of Ella shows minimal storage signs with one bumped corner. The original owner wrote the date 11/9/56 at the top edge of the back.
4. This is an album set that holds two 12” LP vinyl records of ELLA FITZGERALD SINGS THE COLE PORTER SONG BOOK from VERVE RECORDS as MG V-4001 which we believe to be a first pressing from 1956. They call these labels red but they look more orange with a little variation in shade from one to another. We did not play them but these mono platter boast original shine, gloss, and luster, while side 4 may have a couple of slight scratches. They appear seldom if ever played. They are protected by clear plastic inner sleeves. The cover with photographic image of Ella on a color striped background shows minimal storage signs. The original owner wrote the date 9/20/56 THUR at the top edge of the back. You're not likely to find much nicer examples of these early copies.
