This record is in excellent condition. It has a lot of spindle marks visible on the labels but no pen marks, scuffs or staining. There is mild wear around the centre holes but these are not loose or excessively worn. Overall the iconic Verve labels(which have the MT tax code on side 1) are clean, bright and in good shape but with the large amount of spindle marks as mentioned.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have nothing serious, nasty or major showing and have a lovely lustre. There is a few light lines, minor marks and mild signs of use/age on both sides however. Overall it is a vintage used lp that has some signs of this but also has nothing at all major and is still in good playable condition.
I play tested the record and it plays really well. It lays flat and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent with no serious issues and hardly any surface noise or interference. There are no skips, sticks or disruptive clicks and overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable play test with good quality throughout. I noted two pops between tracks 3 and 4 on side 2 but other than these I noted little with no noticeable distortion and a nice clean listen throughout.
The sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some minor wear to the edges and corners but the writing on the spine is all still clearly legible. The sleeve remains solid and there are no splits, tears or scuffs. There is a pen mark on the rear in the top left corner however and also some wear/damage to the flipback on the rear. There is also light age related grubbiness to the rear and some very slight creasing around the edges of the laminated front. Overall a solid and tidy enough sleeve with just general age related/handling marks really. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains a brand new plain white inner as the one originally with it was a replacement and scruffy.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
