Here are 2 original Ella Fitzgerald & and Louis Armstrong records:
- ELLA FITZGERALD AND LOUIS ARMSTRONG - Ella and Louis
Extremely rare 1956 first Dutch edition (Holland). This is the first cooperation by jazz legends Ella Fitzgareld & Louis Armstrong. The album features one of the most beautiful record cover photo's ever made (a subjective fact that is often overlooked when this album is discussed)
The sleeve was printed in in the USA, the vinyl was pressed in Holland.
This Dutch album has a slightly different track listing than the American version.
It does have 11 songs on it. "April on Paris" is definitely on it.
Here are the numbers:Label: Verve - number MGV 4003 Silver on black "T" label. Label with copyright lines in Dutch Matrix numbers: side A: MGV 4003A-2 50078side B: MGV, three A's with double stripes, 04003, upside down small triangle, B=1/670
The record is in EX to NM condition and the sleeve is in NM condition
