Description

This is a vintage 7" vinyl single called "THE COLE PORTER SONGBOOK" by ELLA FITZGERALD. It has been inscribed "Sincerest wishes"and signed by singer Ella Fitzgerald, with a blue ball point pen, on March 12, 1974 in Helsinki, Finland.

This signature was obtained in-person by a well-known Finnish autograph collector, best known to most as "Uncle Eric" (Erkki Rapo, 1946-2004).

(Eric inspired the song "Ms. Pinky" on FRANK ZAPPA's "Zoot Allures" album as told by Frank on a track called "Lonely Person Devices" on the Vol. 6 of the "You Can't Do That On Stage Anymore" collections.)
