Description

Lovely copy of the original 1960 first pressing of the Ella Fitzgerald Wishes You a Swinging Christmas LP on Verve mono MG V-4042. Original microgroove pressing with original Verve inner sleeve. The disc has a few superficial scuffs and a mark or two but plays near perfectly and just beautifully. Only the tiniest crackle between some songs, and an occasional light tick, but really barely at all. The whole record sounds just wonderful. The cover has some general shelfwear, with a bit of scuffing and general darkening, and a few spots of edgewear and soft corners on the right, but there are no seam splits and no creases or writing or real damage. It is quite a beautiful looking copy, and a beautiful sounding one.
