ELLA FITZGERALD/DUKE ELLINGTON 12 x VINYL EMIDISC BUNDLE; PRIVATE PRESSINGS JAZZ

This is a bundle of 12 EMIDISC vinyl records, predominantly Duke Ellington, but also including Ella Fitzgerald. They appear to be private pressings, though I’m not sure. Perhaps they are promotional/pre advance pressings, sent to radio and tv outlets.

All labels are either hand written, or typed, with some blank to one side. Equally, some have matrix numbers, and I’ve included them below for each individual listing, where appropriate.

I acquired the bundle, as part of a huge auction item, and they were not individually listed. Thus, I’ve no idea of their history or provenance.

The vinyls look in excellent condition for the most part, and are housed in both a plastic/cellophane inner, and a cardboard outer sleeve, most of which have a white sticker to the corner, which state ‘Do not remove from cover. Breakable. Some also have other information to the right corner, related to the enclosed vinyl.

Each vinyl is listed below, along with a visual grading, followed by a grading for the cardboard sleeve. All of the sleeves are split along a seam.

I shall start the auction at £9.99, that’s less than £1 per vinyl, and will let it conclude. On this occasion, offers will not be considered.

Finally, these EMIDISC vinyls are heavy. Weighing nearly 4kg in total. Thus, they will be despatched via Royal Mail tracked 48, with full tracking and insurance, plus 50p to cover EBay p&p charges.
