I cannot guarantee that this is an authentic Ella autograph. This has been in my collection for about 10 years and lots of different experts have seen it over the years and can't come to a definitive consensus. This is mostly because her signature is very inconstant throughout known and authenticated signatures. I purchased this as part of a very large collection of similar jazz LPs in East Dundee, IL. None of the other LPs had writing on them like this at all. Most of them had the sticker on the top left corner as seen in the picture of the back cover with dates listed on them. I've assumed those dates were when the previous owner taped them to reel-to-reel because he did have quite a massive collection of those tapes in his collection as well. Use your best judgement based on this info and the pictures.
I'm finally selling off the last of my own personal vinyl collection after a lifetime of collecting. Grades are all visual and I've always tended to grade on the conservative side of things just to be fair. The disc itself will be shipped in an innersleeve outside of the cover within the package to avoid seam splits during transit. If there is a custom innersleeve pictured, the disc will come in a separate innersleeve to protect the custom sleeve as well. I will combine shipping. As I've always done with my LP auctions, the 2nd LP shipped within the same package will not add any cost to the shipping price. Records will be shipped in high quality LP mailers from Bags Unlimited. Please ask any questions you may have.
