Here´s an original copy of ELMER GANTRY'S VELVET OPERA - Same, released 1968 in the UK on Direction 8-63300. To my humble ears this album is as good as first Andwella's Dream or Pussy at least....ok...not in the July realms but almost. F....g great album and as decent UK first press superrare too. This is a great copy. 

Condition cover: m- -, the fragile laminated sleeve has very light corner- and spinewear, is a bit dirty (cleanable) on white back and has a few light lamination creases along the spines (slightly stronger on right bottom corner of front).

Condition record: m-, a few very light visual hairlines and paperscuffs, plays close to perfect. Looks m-(-), plays m(-). A super album in great shape.

I should mention that my gradings are visualy AND audible taken on a Wilson Benesch Act Two turntable combined with Sumiko Blue Point Special cartridge and this combination doesn't lie...I'm just a collector and don't like overgraded records so much...
