BLUE HORIZON RECORDS was Mike Vernon's label project for representing the best original bluesman who weren't necessarily carried by major labels in Britain (the label also did the same in the US, soon enough).
Thus some great records were issued, and new recordings made that otherwise would not have reached blues enthusiasts.
ELMORE JAMES was known by enthusiasts in Britain, especially after PETER GREEN'S FLEETWOOD MAC covered his material, Jeremy Spencer taking slide duties.
It's a worthwhile recording - consistent with the label's standard!
CONDITION;
The VINYL is VG+.
Certainly still a worthwhile player, though not a mint copy - there are some marks that sound here and there.
The LAMINATED SINGLE SLEEVE COVER is in VG condition, some wear and creases in the laminate, some light handling to the rear, and a little pen to the top corner.
'CBS' Stickers on both sides denote the parent company, I believe this was only put on the early or exported issues.
The inner is a CBS advertising sleeve.
