My comment:  Wonderful LP.  Vinyl no scratches of marks plays well.  Cover normal wear with no tears or marks.

A.               Record Collector "Rare Record Price Guide" Grading

Vinyl:       EXCELLENT

Cover:      VERY GOOD

B.               Goldmine Record Grading: VG+

"Record collector" system

Mint:= Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.  Cover & extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster perfect.

Excellent:= Shows some signs ofhaving been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover & packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

Very Good:=The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch.  Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.

Good:=  The record

has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.  The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.

Fair and worse I will not be listing.

Goldmine system (Summary see www.goldmine.com):

Mint (M):  Perfect in every way

Near Mint (NM, M-):  Nearly perfect.  Shiny and free of visible defects. No writing, stickers, other markings or spindle marks appear on the label. If played, an NM record will do so without surface noise.  NM covers have no creases, ring wear or seam splits of any kind.

Very Good Plus (VG+) or Excellent (E):  Except for a couple of minor things, this would be Near Mint. Records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that don’t affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, so long as repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.  Covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable locataion. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint.

Very Good (VG):  VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail.  When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise. Minor writing, tape or a sticker can detract from the label.  VG covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover, where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious; it may appear on all three sides, thought it won’t be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written on it or stamped a price tag on it, too.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+) /Verg Good Minus (VG-):  The record still plays through without skipping.  It has significant surface noise and groove wear.  The label is worn and exhibits significant ring wear, heavy writing or obvious damage caused byrying to remove tape or stickers.  A G to VG- cover has ring wear to tyhe point of distractio, has seam splits obvious on sight and may have heavier writing.

Note: I will despatch outside UK.

I am prepared to accept a cheque but will only despatch after cheque has cleared.

Below my list of remaining Blues LP's/Singles   (I have a few jazz, pop, & classical to add to my list.)  I am trying to list about 4 records a week.  If you have any particular requests please let me know by email or Skype.  I will put up all the records by one Artist at the same time or over a given fortnight.  I generally put down what I think is a fair STARTING price from comparing a number of sources and taking account of the state of the record.

In a couple of cases I am unable to find the LPs listed anywhere, including the Rare Record Price Guide, when they occur I will make a wild guess on starting price:)
