Elmore (Elmo) James - The Sky is Crying LP (Fire LP 102)
"Just as Fire Records' Bobby Robinson was getting ready to release Elmore James' 'The Sky is Crying' album as LP-102, "Fannie Mae" by Buster Brown had gotten so big, that he just dropped the Elmore James LP to concentrate on the Buster Brown album and released it as FLP-102. According to Robinson, he made no covers and stopped production of this LP, leaving only a few sample copies in circulation."

Grade: G (Lots of scuffs and hairlines - plays with background noise, plays through with some pops and tics but no skips. A great listen especially considering the way it looks)
