Description
Scarce vintage blues 45 featuring ELMORE JAMES and his BROOMDUSTERS on the CHIEF label, from approximately 1957. Titles are “It Hurts Me Too†and “Elmore’s Contribution to Jazz.â€
Label is white with brown print. (Possibly a promo because the only Chief 45’s I have previously seen had red labels, but this one does not say “promo†anywhere on the label, so I am just speculating. Catalog number is Chief 7004.
Condition is nice VG+ with most of the original gloss. Has some paper scuffs and a few hairlines, but no serious marks, plays great. I have included a sound clip so you can judge the quality for yourself.
Label show moderate surface wear but overall are clean and nice. No rips, writing, or stickers.
