Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

PLAYED WELL BELOW AVERAGE CAREFUL TIMES FROM NEW!  

This vinyl shows a handful of light shiny spider lines around the centre hole

No wear to the hole at all

The HEAVYWEIGHT vinyl IS SUPER GLOSSY AND BRIGHT  with just some TINY FEINT  whisp and a few light hairlines  -

The LP has just the feintest static we could hear and nothing else in play of any note anywhere at all. Just the very occasional little static sizzle that could be remedied with a professional hoover cleaner. NO POPS STICKS OR JUMPS

IT PLAYS SUPERB THROUGHOUT!!! AND A WONDERFUL LISTEN

OVERALL THIS IS A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS HIGHLY PRIZED LP.

AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS THE 1ST ISSUE SLEEVE -... WITH THE MATT FINISH

THE SLEEVE IS IN SUPER SHAPE- AS MOST WE SEE ARE ALWAYS TERRIBLY RING WORN AND TATTY.

THIS SLEEVE IS A GREAT EXAMPLE, NOT MINT, BUT REALISTIALLY ITS HARD TO FIND A BETTER EXAMPLE. (Note, later sleeves that are often super clean are glossier finish EMI rim re-issue copies)

THE OPEN EDGE IS SHARP WITH LITTLE FEATHERING . 

SOME EDGE SPIDER LINES ON EACH SIDE

THE SPINE IS CLEAN WITH A FEW SPIDER LINES AND THE ODD SPOT OF RUB

THERE IS SOME VERY FEINT SEAM WEAR ON THE TOP FRONT PANEL, BUT NO ARCS OF DREADED WHITE RUB  (We would never list a sleeve showing ringwear at all in any case)

BOTH PANELS ARE SUPER WITH JUST THE FEINTEST RING PRESS

THE GATEFOLD OPENING IS IMMACULATE
