Description
I have been a music fan and vinyl enthusiast since the early 1970s and I am selling a large range of records covering a very wide variety of musical styles. They are all authentic original pressings, featuring quality music mostly from the 1970s and 1980s.
They have all been very well cared for, though I will give an honest appraisal of their condition and will put up plenty of photos of the actual items for sale so you can see exactly what you are bidding on. I endeavour to highlight anything in the description which I would want to be made aware of before deciding to place a bid. I am very aware that, as a distance buyer, you are entrusting in the honesty of the item descriptions and I always aim to describe the items truthfully and thoroughly.
All these records are deep cleaned using a professionally constructed wet vacuum system using only the highest purity record cleaning fluids so the vinyl is all very clean, glossy and dust free. Everything listed is, at the very least, very thoroughly test played, (minimum of at least 4-5 tracks across both sides) though almost always played right through on a quality deck and I apply high standards to my vinyl and would never list a record that I would not be perfectly happy to have in my own cherished record collection. In the case of rare or particularly interesting vinyls, I may list records which may fall short in some way of my usual standards, but this would always be very clearly highlighted in the descriptions.
I visually inspect every record under very bright light using an inspection lamp.
A note regarding the most important matter of all - the audio - as with all vinyl, even straight out of the cellophane, there can be light crackle or very light 'pops' during the quiet passages. I have listened carefully, at the very least in part, to all these records, so I will highlight in the descriptions any aspects of the audio playback which I consider to be outside the parameters of the very high standards I apply to my own listening. Please be assured that I would never sell 'fried breakfasts', only high quality records.

ELO - 'Out Of The Blue' - original 1977 vinyl album in excellent condition. The matrix reads 'UAS 1100 A-1U / B-1U / UAS 2100 A-2U / B-1U' with 'Kev' 'Arthur' and 'Allen' etched in the run outs.
The vinyl is in excellent condition and retains its all of original glossy sheen with only the very lightest of wispy superficial hairlines, if any, visible in bright light.
I have played this album right through and playback is excellent and I am listening to the record as I type this and the audio is superb, really crisp and clear and delivering all of that richness and depth characteristic of the music produced from the source of high quality and extremely carefully looked after vinyl.
The unmistakable gatefold sleeve features typically superb and really stylish ELO artwork and is in excellent condition with only a little wear commensurate with age and handling. There is an indented line across the back, though this is unnoticeable with the sleeve in its brand new bespoke high quality clear protective outer jacket where it presents really well. The spine is lovely and sharp and square and fully readable.
The card inner sleeves are in excellent condition though the vinyls are now housed in brand new high quality poly-lined inner sleeves for safekeeping and to conserve the originals.
The poster has probably barely ever been out of the sleeve and it has certainly never been put up and is in excellent uncreased condition.
This record in a nutshell : a quintessential classic 1970's album in lovely all round condition with the immaculate vinyl delivering a superb pin sharp audio and an album worthy of a place in anyone's classic rock vinyl collection.
