This listing is for an original promotional offer associated with ELO's Out of The Blue album in 1977. It shows the iconic spaceship on the front, and on the back, it has an offer to send in a request for a larger full color reflective mylar print (as the piece is an example of what you could get if you ordered it). The album became the band's most commercially successful album, selling millions of copies, and was a double album written and produced by ELO frontman, Jeff Lynne. It has been said that he wrote the entire album in less than a month while he was staying in the Swiss Alps. Bad weather, which can be heard on "Concerto" was real because Lynne had recorded the sounds. The cover, now symbolic of the group, was designed by Kosh with art by Shusei Nagaoka, which looks like a space station with a docking shuttle from the 1968 movie "2001: A Space Odyssey." It is in brand new condition, as we just found the original promo box with these inside. It measures approximately 4-3/4" x 6-3/4".
